People in work report

Easily report on the number of employees working and the roles covered each week using the People in Work report

The People In Work Report allows you to pull a report of who is working in a particular week and the number of positions you have used within that working week.

Some common uses for this report:

  • Give you the daily breakdown for staff headcounts for the week across selected rosters, operations etc.
  • Compare your rostered headcount from week to week.
  • Shows a headcount of how many people worked in each position across the week.
  • An easy way to check you have a qualified position scheduled on each day for audit purposes. (i.e. a diploma-qualified position in each childcare room across each roster)

  This report pulls data from published rostered shifts, please ensure your rosters and all shifts have been published for the week in question before running the report.

  Please note: This is a permission-controlled report. Admins will need the 'View Workforce Report Centre' permission enabled to see any reports in this section of reporting. 

Generating the people in work report

If you would like to see the number of people in work by operation, roster and position type, run the People in Work report. This report pulls data from rostered shifts, as rosters in foundU are built week to week, this report will pull data for one week at a time.

To run the report:

  1. Navigate to Reports > Workforce Reports > People In Work.
  2. Select the Week Ending to base the report on. This refers to the 'week ending' on your roster.
  3. Select any specific Operations to include (leave blank to view all).
  4. Select any specific Rosters to include (leave blank to view all).
  5. Add any Visa subclass filters if required.
  6. Select any specific Office Codes to include.
  7. Select Employee working status. If you are running this report for a date quite far in the past, include archived employees to give a more accurate number of employees for past dates. 
  8. Once you have made all selections, Generate Report. Depending on the size of your roster, this report may take a bit of extra time to generate.

  This report can be exported to PDF if required, by selecting Select Export PDF. 

 

The report will pull data on People in Work (PIW) and outline how many positions were used.

  • Roster - Total PIW - Number of unique people currently working per roster.
  • Position - Total - Number of people in each position (people may work multiple positions).
  • Production days - The number of unique shifts on the report (unique in different time span, and/or position).
