Get ready for a more logical and enhanced approach to termination in payroll.

Terminations aren’t fun and neither is the payroll admin for them.  That’s why we’ve taken on board your feedback into crafting a smarter Terminations Workflow. 

Managing outstanding payslips will now be easier: 

• Blocked Payslips – a new ‘Blocked’ status will direct your attention to any unprocessed payslips.  
• Manage Blocked – now you will be able to review and decide whether to delete or process the blocked unprocessed payslips for the terminated employee. 
• Updated Termination Process in Approved People - you'll no longer be prompted for additional actions related to unprocessed payslips (the rest of the process will remain the same). 

Plus, we’ve made changes to streamline and automate the whole process: 

• Merge multiple payslips – if in the same period as the termination (where possible).  
• Automatic Creation of Termination Payslips - for relevant periods involving a termination with no hours yet worked. 
• Automatic $0 Termination Payslip Creation - where there is no leave payout and no existing payslip in the termination period.
