You may have received a "You should be Single Touch Payroll Payroll Phase 2 reporting" email from the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).  Don't stress, that email is to basically let you know that foundU is compliant and we're all in the new world now.  As per their disclaimer "If you have already started STP Phase 2 reporting, thank you."

New Employee Termination & Offboarding Workflow

STP Phase 2 introduces a simpler, centralised workflow for terminating employees. Easily set a Cessation Reason which reduces the need for a separation certificate. Outstanding pay, shifts and leave balances can be actioned, and you can set an archive date! Check out the on-demand webinar on 'Offboarding Employees' to learn the full process.  Learn more   New STP Phase 2 Gateway The new and improved Single Touch Payroll portal makes for easier understanding of STP packets that need to be submitted. It's more intuitive with better tracking and troubleshooting. No longer will there be automatic STP submissions, every STP submission will be created ready for you to review and submit.  Learn more   STP Phase 2 Line Item Report A new and intuitive STP Line Item Phase 2 Report now lives in your Financial Reports. More improvements will be added to this report in the upcoming weeks. Stay tuned!  Learn more   Approving New Employees Process Update When approving new employees, you'll now be asked to assign a Manager, Office Code and set an Employment Start Date. You'll also need to set the Income Type for STP reporting purposes.  Learn more   WorkCover Set Up Best Practice With the new STP2 reporting, your WorkCover process would likely have changed.
