The Single Touch Payroll Phase 2 Deadline is 27 Feb 2023

If you have not yet moved to Single Touch Payroll Phase 2, it is now becoming URGENT that you finalise your outstanding tasks this week!

PAYROLL GENERATION WILL BE BLOCKED ON 27 FEB UNTIL THIS IS COMPLETE.

ATO fines apply for businesses that fail to comply before the cut off date.

The following tasks need to be actioned this week to enable us to move you to Single Touch Payroll Phase 2 reporting and stay compliant by the deadline - 27 Feb 2023:

1. Complete STP Phase 2 Transition Tool Tasks [REQUIRED to move to STP2]
2. Reconcile & Finalise STP Phase 1 [REQUIRED to move to STP2]


Please complete these tasks ASAP and well before 27 Feb, as we need 48 hours to check the data (and go back to you with any required changes), process, and officially move your platform to STP Phase 2 reporting.

Step 1: Complete Transition Tool tasks.

Action all STP Phase 2 Transition Tool tasks. Once completed you'll see a button asking you to Finalise STP1. Use the Transition Tool Guide for detailed help.

Step 2: Finalise STP Phase 1 

Once you have completed the transition tool tasks, you will then need to finalise Single Touch Payroll Phase 1 and wait for a successful response from the ATO. Then, you'll see this message on the Transition Tool page and can click 'Ready to Transition'.

Step 3: STP Phase 2 reporting will be activated!

We'll activate STP Phase 2 reporting in your platform within 48 hours. Once ready, when you visit the Single Touch Payroll page next, you'll see the new STP Phase 2 Reporting portal and you can begin to officially report via STP Phase 2!
