If your platform is now enabled with Single Touch Payroll Phase 2 Reporting - congratulations!!! With Phase 2, you have greater visibility on what has been reported to the ATO through STP in our new reports and intuitive submission portal.

Tips & Resources

Here's some tips and resources on the new STP Phase 2 submission portal and changes that come with it:

STP Phase 2 portal:

• The new STP submissions gateway makes for easier understanding of STP packets to be submitted - See this article on STP 2 Reporting.
• There is no longer automatic STP submissions. Every STP submission will be created and ready for you to submit each time a pay cycle, manual payslip, adjustment or payslip edit is generated.

Terminating Employees:

• Off-boarding employees: The workflow for terminating and archiving employees has changed - See this article for a new guided workflow.
• When you terminate an employee, you’ll now be able to set an archive date!
• The cessation reason and date are now included in reporting which reduces the need for separation certificates.
• Concluding any outstanding leave balances and actioning future shifts has a new workflow.
• Completing termination will give new options to “Review outstanding pay”.
