Coming soon is an effortless way to manage the stages of employee onboarding!
The foundU team are working hard to get the platform ready for STP Phase 2 reporting. As part of Phase 2, the ATO is now requesting more in-depth termination information including the cessation reason and termination date as part of their integration with Services Australia. This will remove the need for employers and employees to submit separation certificates to apply for benefits.
A step towards this is a newly defined guided workflow for the employee journey so that you are easily able to take the correct action when changing an employee’s status. E.g. If an employee has been paid by the company, the status change option that you will see is Terminate; once saved, you will see the option to Archive the employee under the new Manage menu.
Overall, these new guided workflows will help make it easier for you to track and manage employee onboarding from start to finish!
Here is a sneak peek at some of the exciting upgrades coming your way soon:
Changes in 'Pending People':
- More detailed 'Status' information. If your onboarding journey has a verification step, you will be able to see the specific stage an employee has progressed to. The stages are:
- Application Incomplete
- Ready to Review
- Onboarding Incomplete
- Ready to Approve
-
Smarter 'Work Status' Filter. If you use the filter whilst in 'Pending People' it will now only show the new onboarding stages.
New option in Work Status filter:

Employee Profile Changes:
- Have confidence that only 'work ready 'employees who have completed 100% of onboarding will be moved to Approved People after being Accepted.
-
New 'Manage' menu in the employee profile, bringing all of the actions you need together in an easy-access location
