A better shift creation experience
We have introduced a more intuitive and efficient way to select employees for shifts when rostering. This release focuses on improving employee selection criteria, providing greater visibility into who can and cannot be rostered, and offering faster insights to help you identify and resolve rostering blockers with ease! You now get:
Employee status visibility: When adding or editing shifts, you’ll see an employee’s work status at a glance - including employees typically hidden because they're unavailable or ineligible. You'll see employees that are Available, Unavailable, On Leave, or Blocked.
New 'Blocked Employees' toggle: You can toggle Blocked Employees visibility when creating shifts. Blocked states include:
Roster Requirement missing (compliance or tag)
Shift Requirement missing (compliance or tag)
Operation Exclusion or Exclusive
Shift Conflict
New shift summary: After you enter shift details, view a concise summary with your selected criteria before adding to your roster to ensure everything looks right.
We heard your feedback - many of you rely on the roster for visual cues about your staff's shift status. That's why we've refined shift statuses and colour codes to make real-time tracking easier than ever! Now you'll instantly be able to see who's starting, finishing and gain clearer insights into workflows at a glance! We want to make it easier for you to:
Track every stage of a shift - from draft to cancelled - with aligned filters for quick visibility.
Hover to instantly view key shift details.
Spot important alerts with clear icons for things like public holiday pay, leave, overtime, and potential compliance issues.
