Improvements & New features
Approve Shifts header redesign – released 4 December 2023 - updates to the Approve Shifts header card brings the page in line with foundU's storybook components and allows admins to multi select items in the filter boxes. Changes to components and layout include:
- New date picker improves usability and aligns desktop and mobile experiences.
- Updates to the filter pills.
- Toggles changed to checkboxes.
- Export button moved to the top right corner (functionality remains the same).
- Updates to breadcrumb brings the page in line with other pages.
- Removed any mention of 'unrostered' from the page and replaced with 'unassigned'.
Top Navigation bar UI updates - released 14 December 2023 - updates to the top navigation bar for admin and employee profiles will increase usability across all screen sizes and bring the navigation bars in line with foundU branding and modern design principles. Notable changes include:
- Responsive designs use icons in place of text, so menu items are not lost on smaller screen sizes.
- The foundU logo replaces home text.
- Removed training from the menu items.
- Active states in the dropdown lists.
This is a high-visibility change to our platforms; however, the existing top navigation structure and functionality will remain.
- Minor visual update to payslip history - the look of the payslip history drawer has been updated to better match the ABA history drawer.
- Tags CSV import - a new import has been added to CSV imports under the Integrations tab. The “Employee Tags” import allows multiple tags to be imported against an employee. Import will add to any existing tags an employee has.
- CSV importer time formats - upgrades to the CSV importers (that include date columns) mean that they will now accept most Australian date formats.
Bug fixes
- Adding leave in Approve Shifts - improvements to the Approve Shifts drawer allows admins to apply leave if the max hours have not been exceeded.
- Allow preview PDF on payslip to be clicked again after error - previously if there was an error triggered when previewing a payslip PDF, the option to preview PDF would not return unless the page was refreshed.
- Classifications not loading on search - fixed an issue in the classification dropdown when editing an award position where the expected results were not being shown when searched for.
- Roster analytics and summary - terminated and archived employees will no longer count towards the roster analytics or summary numbers.
- Terms and conditions character for admins - the character limit for T&Cs has been increased for admins so text no longer gets cut off. This means that the admin and employee will now see the same amount of text for T&Cs.
- Archiving rosters - admins will now be able to archive rosters that include archived employees.
