Improvements & New features
- Archiving rosters will now require that all future shifts are declined or approved - users will now be unable to archive a roster where shifts have yet to be finalised, preventing issues paying employees.
- Onboarding empty states designs have been improved - employee success and verify break screens will now show an empty state like the screens shown to admins.
- Lock shifts now prevents adding allowance or reimbursements - Approve Shifts no longer allows admins to add weekly items (Allowances & Reimbursements) to shifts that have been locked. The user will now receive an error when adding items.
- Download roster will now respect user search restrictions when downloading combined rosters - downloading a roster where multiple rosters exist within an operation will now check restrictions and only export applicable rosters.
- Clicking and dragging a shift will now allow scrolling above or below the screen - to better facilitate moving shifts on rosters with many shifts, dragging a shift to the top or bottom of the screen will now scroll to more shifts.
- Reimbursement Report update - previously the reimbursement report had a group by option of “none” which would show additional information of status and file. This has been replaced with a checkbox option to “Split reimbursements and show details” which will result in the same outcome but can now be used in conjunction with all other group-by options.
- Look of Payslip/ABA progress manager updated - the queue manager that appears during the payslip generation process has had some small changes to its look. Title shows the number of payslips and time stamp of when complete to better indicate which notification relates to which batch. ABA file tracking is now within the same entry as the related payslip, and the button becomes accessible as soon as ABA ready.
- Jobs accordion on Operation page updated - historical jobs on operations now updated to new table style, with improved load times for any operations with a lot of completed jobs as loads data more effectively.
- Tooltip to clarify “Inactive” deductions - text changes and tooltip changes to the “Deactivate” option on deductions to help clarify that existing deductions of this type will continue to process.
- Employees working on platforms configured to not pay will no longer see a TFN completion reminder - for platforms that don’t process pay through foundU, and have no need for TFN details, the reminder card to complete a TFN will no longer be displayed to employees.
- Addition of packet ID to STP submissions export – the addition of the packet ID to the STP CSV submissions export allows for easy identification when multiple STP packets have been downloaded.
- Updated Edit/Adjustment Payslip Modal - the modal that shows upon selecting "update payslip" when editing a payslip or creating an adjustment has been updated. The STP submission option has been removed (as it’s no longer relevant in STP2).
ABA files page revamped – released 5 October 2023 - redesigned to bring it more in line with the other tabs on the pay page. New functionality:
- Quick filtering between unpaid, downloaded and archived. Removed the option to "pay" an ABA file with “downloaded” now being considered paid - users can still add a payment reference if required.
- Easier filtering between period end and payment date as user requires.
- The ability to view archived ABA files and restore if needed.
- The ability to "view payslips" from the ABA files page, which will take the user to a filtered version of the generated payslips page, showing which payslips make up the ABA file (note - payslips are always shown in their current state).
- Bulk actions - users can now merge, archive and download ABA files in bulk.
- ABA history drawer - users can see all actions performed on an ABA file and by whom.
- ETP "type" ABA - when an ABA is created due to an ETP, it’s clearly shown in the “type” column making it much easier to locate.
Bug fixes
- Shift offers that have been declined by an employee will be handled correctly on the roster - when an offered shift has been declined, the shift will no longer be editable, and copying the shift to a new week will correctly be a draft (or pending) ready to offer or assign.
- Checkbox lists where the label is longer than one line will now be correctly aligned - improved alignment of checkboxes throughout the platform to ensure that the checkbox remains in line with the first line of the label, rather than appearing in the centre of both (or multiple) lines.
- People in work report - improved performance to reduce time outs for larger datasets. Noting this does not solve for endless amounts of data but will reduce the cases of timeouts.
- Cost code search and add will now work correctly with users tabbing between fields - users preferring to use their keyboard to move between fields were unable to successfully add or select a cost code (or purchase order). Tabbing away from the field would clear the field, rather than select an existing code that matched, or add the code to the library (if permissions allowed). This interaction should now work as expected.
- Employees can now save their country of origin - a bug was preventing the country of origin being saved during onboarding, this should now work as expected.
- Employee upcoming work calendar now displays availability correctly - upcoming roster availability for the final day of the week is now displayed. There was an issue where in some cases the final day of the week would not show unavailable if that was set.
- Roster now displays shifts assigned to archived employees - where the employee was archived after the shift has commenced. Roster templated shifts for archived employees will now load into the roster unallocated.
- Ongoing jobs will better handle effective date of position start - improved cases where jobs starting in the future weren’t always allowing an employee’s position start date, preventing assigning, or offering of jobs to that employee.
- Locking shifts will now prevent adding weekly items in Approve Shifts (allowances and reimbursements) - where a period is locked, an error will now be displayed to the user that the period is locked and adding an item has failed.
- Offered shifts can no longer be accepted where an additional shift would conflict with an existing shift - users offering employees shifts through a combination of bulk shifts and individual offers from the roster will now display an error preventing employees from accepting any conflicting shifts.
- Policy Document mobile view - fixed a bug that prevented employees from viewing more than the first page of multiple-page documents prior to being signed. Now employees will be able to download the full multipage document even if on mobile prior to signing.
