Release Notes - June 2023

Improvements & New features 

• Export/import for entitlement charge rates - introduced the ability for a user to export existing charge rates set for entitlements, update data, and re-import. This can be done both within the Rate Rise Tool section and as a standalone action on the CSV Import page under integrations. 
• Timesheet import validation improvement - enhanced the validation on the old Timesheet import function. Employees can only have a timesheet imported against them when they are an approved employee that has completed onboarding 100%.
• New Custom Templates Page - released 14 June 2023 - a brand new page in the Communication menu for “Custom Templates”. Users can now create email templates (including with an attachment) to send through the bulk email function on people pages. SMS template function has had a major upgrade in being merged into the page. Now a placeholder token can be saved in an SMS template, with more tokens available.  The send SMS modal was overhauled to a new style with clickable tokens.
• Export/Import function for overridden entitlement rates - when a leave type is designated as parental or workers compensation, the rate can be overridden on an employee profile. The CSV import page now features an “Overridden Entitlement Rates” option which allows users to export and update these rates.
• Update to Overridden rates modal in Rate Rise Tool - the modal for editing overridden position rates in the Rate Rise Tool has been rebuilt. The new modal has a clearer edit, save or cancel pathway.
• Bulk People Export - improved the speed of the Bulk Export from the People page.
• Speed improvements when completing a rate rise and email notification update - updates have been made to greatly increase the speed it takes to move between rate rise steps. Users can also now ask to be notified by email when the data processing is complete. 
• Hide rate rises from previous years – the rate rise page will now only show rate rises from the current year by default. This increases the speed at which the page loads for older customers.  

ETP creation update - released 9 June 2023 

Creating ETPs (Employment Termination Payments) is now more intuitive with guided workflows to allow users to better understand the process of creating an ETP. While this change does not include any automatic calculations, it’s intended to greatly reduce the mental load of navigating and finalising a payment. This change includes:

• Stepped creation process from employee selection, and payment creation to review of payment.
• Improved validation of requirements.
• Workcover and payroll tax now apply to the entire ETP rather than each sub-payment within an ETP.
• Improved performance for large volumes.
• Smart help info tooltips. 

 Bug fixes 

• Retrospective warning no longer incorrectly triggering for monthly leave – employees on a monthly pay cycle will no longer falsely trigger a warning upon leave approval. 
• Per Page Option - STP Review Page - fixed an issue where the pagination on the STP review page wasn't working for viewing 200 records per page.
