
Fair Work has now released a brief on its decision to amend the rules concerning temporary shutdowns and annual leave.
This will affect a large number of awards from 1 May 2023.
The updated rules address the direction to take annual leave during shutdowns and the reasonableness of these requirements, length and negotiation of notice periods, public holidays and options for those without enough annual leave.
