Improvements & New features
- People export will now display only the cost code or purchase order attached to an employee position, rather than a combination of position and costing.
- Added many additional data placeholders to the document builder to better allow document customisation through templating. Along with this update is better segmentation and labelling of existing placeholders.
- As part of an ongoing effort to increase employee profile load speed, payslips will now be fetched from the server as required, rather than loading with the profile. The payslips panel also received an update to match design and function of other tables.
- Utilising budgets within rostering will now display against the total wages for the roster. Green when well under your budget – less than 90%; Amber when approaching budget – 90-100%; Red when over your budget.
- Leave balance prediction has been improved to update when leave is taken prior to any approved or future leave balances. Approving leave will now be even more accurate to ensure that multiple applications don’t result in an employee exceeding their entitlement balances.
- Updated the Advanced Payroll Activity report to allow users to specify whether office codes should include the associated ABN, rather than always displaying.
- Improved the Performance and Attendance Report - Data provided in the report generates from live data identical to the reports viewable against each individual employee profile.
- Updated the Labour Management Report to split data up based on cost codes applied at the shift level to support improvements coming to shift costing.
- Improved the logic of the ‘Minimum hours between shifts’ setting, so the fatigue warnings are not applied where the difference between two shifts is exactly matches the setting value. The difference must be greater than the setting value.
- Improved the logic of the Bulk Approve Shifts feature to be consistent with the single Approve Shifts function when the ‘Enable Pre-Approve Shifts’ setting is off. It will now not appear like you can approve those future shifts.
- Improved the tabbing behaviour on the roster, creating and editing shift modal so that break, position and employee fields will be part of the tabbing flow. This should allow users to utilise their tab key to move between all required fields when creating or editing a shift.
- Added ‘Employee Status’ as a filter option to the Employee Document Report.
Bug fixes
- Roster Search Restriction not applying correctly to Dashboard - Roster Search Restrictions were not correctly applying on the Dashboard. Admins will now see only the rosters they have permissions to see as set in the platform search restrictions.
- Additional Bank Details Amount type field - When customers were adding a second bank account through the new Additional Bank Account form in Employee Financial Details accordion, it was not defaulting an “Amount Type”, which was causing a validation error when the user just includes an amount. Now, if a user is adding an additional bank account, the option for “Amount” will be selected automatically. The admin is able to change this to %.
- Fixed an issue with the roster filter query that was sometimes causing external shifts for an employee to not display in filtered results.
- Ensured that rates book templates can no longer be created with invalid input data in the name and charge rate field.
- Fixed an issue that was causing some documents not to render for employees in very limited circumstances when using the [EntityCompanyName] placeholder.
- Fixed an issue caused by a recent update to document template placeholder names. The original update should have also changed placeholder names against templates. We have now automatically updated all templates that contained the placeholders ‘CustomerCompanyName’, ‘CustomerABN’, ‘CustomerAddress’, ‘CustomerContact’, ‘CustomerPhone’, ‘AuthorizedSignature’, ‘AuthorizedName’ to use the new placeholders.
- Fixed an issue with the Cost Code Library that was causing an error when submitting multiple timesheets.
- Fixed an issue that was causing ‘Qualifications’ and ‘Tags’ applied to an unassigned roster shift to be removed when copying the shift to another week using the ‘Copy roster option’.
- Fixed an issue with the Visa Check Report that was preventing the generated data from respecting the date filters entered into the ‘Paid From’ and ‘Paid To’ fields
