Release Notes -March 2022

Improvements & New features

  • Document Builder Overhaul - You can now expect to see your document render as you expect when previewing and sending documents to employees. Additional improvements:
    • Improved the placeholders with new groupings added to allow faster selection of placeholders (or clarify what they do).
    • An entire new workflow has been added to allow bulk sending of documents to filtered or selected employees from approved or pending people.
    • Intelligent detection of what placeholders exist within the document template, displaying to the user to allow final checks before sending to employee.
    • The Admin user signature will only display where the document has the ‘Authorised signature’ placeholder – previously this was captured but not included on the document.
  • Invoicing: No GST option per line item – You can now mark any line item as “no GST” on an invoice, regardless of your GST calculation method.
  • Improved the capability of the roster template feature to allow users to select which ‘parts’ of a saved template they would like to load into a blank roster (i.e. Employees, Positions, Allowances, Tags, Qualifications, Budget and Day Notes, Comments).
  • Improved the Approve Shift export of Pending Shifts to export breaks as a whole number (0) when no break information is available.
  • Introduced the ability for users to delete a data source created within the Analytical Data Sources area. Data sources are used to display sales data within the Roster.
  • Added candidate IDs in brackets next to an employee name in each employee field on the Add Weekly Item from Approve Shifts. This will help users identify the appropriate employee in cases where they have multiple employees with the same name.
  • Added Easter Sunday public holiday for WA.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed overnight shift on final day of position error  An error would occur if on the final day of an employee’s position, they worked a shift that went over midnight (i.e. part of the shift fell into a date that the position was no longer active for). This is fixed so employees can work their final shift of the position over midnight without any errors.
  • Fixed an issue that, in some cases, was causing shifts to ‘disappear’ from view when reassigning them from one employee to another.
  • Fixed an issue that was causing an error when a user attempted to download an employee summary from the employee profile.
  • Fixed an issue that was preventing admins from accepting candidates and incorrectly providing an error that a ‘Manager was required’.
  • Fixed an issue that was preventing shifts loaded with a roster template from being edited due to still having a link to the original shift.
  • Fixed an issue that occasionally prevented the saving of ‘Address Line 2’ values against an employee’s profile when using the ‘Manual Address’ functionality.
  • Fixed an issue with an Operation’s ‘Client Summary’ document functionality. Occasionally when uploading a new document, it would appear as if the upload did not work with the old file remaining.
