Improvements & New features
- Repositioned the ‘X’ remove action button next to a selected employee’s name on the Approved People page.
- We have introduced a new setting that will allow admins to have individually offered shifts automatically generate a new shift when declined, or the offer expires. Previously a shift offered to an employee would remain assigned, regardless of whether the shift is accepted, declined or expired. With this setting enabled, a new shift will be created, keeping the original for reporting, allowing that shift to be offered to the next employee.
- Deductions applying for fortnightly employees – Deductions will now apply if that employee only worked in week 2 of the fortnight.
- Payslip page validations – Improvements to validations in edit payslip mode.
- Wic code validations – Improvements to wic code validations.
- Rest period after overtime award rule – There is a rule or similar in many awards that states when an employee finishes a shift in overtime, they need x hours rest (usually 10), before working again or they will be paid at y (sometimes a specified rate, other times standard overtime rules). We can now automate this for clients. You’ll find this in the rate label & settings section for an award under the “Multiple shift settings”. Award settings have had some layout and design improvements to make configuration easier.
- Improved the handling of accepting shift offers. Previously, accepting a selection of shifts from an offer would automatically decline the remaining shifts. We’ve updated this workflow so that an employee now has the option to accept further shifts, or decline the remaining offers.
- Improved display of external shifts. Previously, external shifts that were declined, cancelled, or reassigned would display like any other external shifts. External shifts with these statuses will no longer appear at all.
- Removed the option to ‘Toggle Hours / Toggle Shift Times’ from the roster Tools menu and updated our Display options. Display options will now include the ability to display Shift Duration as an option, where if selected, the shift length will be displayed in brackets next to the rostered shift time.
- Implemented the ability to access the ‘Send Reminder’ button from an employee profile for employees who have been Accepted, but have yet to complete their onboarding.
- Leave request and update emails now contain the leave type. Additionally, a token has been added for users wishing to customers with custom messages that wish to utilise the leave type.
- New page selector and size pickers – Any list of 1-5 pages will show all options, when you have over 5 you’ll get the ability to click for more and jump to whatever page you need. Single chevron to move you one page at a time. These will now be the standard page selectors across the platform.
- Improved speed of Admin > Leave Applications page. Tabs will load faster.
Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue in the employee portal where the Upcoming Roster was not displaying all jobs and shifts under certain circumstances.
- Fixed an issue that prevented a user from declining shifts in bulk if they were previously approved.
- Fixed an issue where the ‘Force public holiday for entire shift’ option on the edit shift modal was appearing not to save.
- Declining leave apps was not working as expected if no reason was provided by the Admin. When a leave app is declined now, Admin is prompted for a reason, if none is provided, they will be prompted again and can now enter a reason and proceed with the action.
- Fixed an issue with multi-select custom field type where if the entered label had a comma, it would cause rendering issues and appear like the option was never selected and saved.
- Fixed a rare issue where some employees would see an error “Questionnaire not completed” after completing their onboarding. This was purely a display issue though was causing employees confusion during onboarding.
- Multiple Leave type hours applied through leave app and Approve Shifts will now reflect on total leave hours approved in Approve Shifts.
- Sales Report is now more robust preventing issues occurring when editing invoices before processing payslips.
- Improved validation when editing payslips to reduce cases where a Pay Item was not added but allowed quantity and rates to be added, resulting in a user being unable to update payslip.
