Release Notes - September 2021

Improvements & New features

  • Impersonating Production Account Banner - size reduced and only one banner is displayed when simulating an Admin user. 
  • Increase Character limit on Locations - Character limit has been changed from 44 to 255.
  • UI updates on Admin Availability Page:
    1. Show Termination Icon next to employee name if they have been terminated.
    2. When employee termination date passes, do not allow any action on employee availability request to encourage archiving of employee.
    3. Remove Archived and Declined employees from Availability page.
  • Leave Applications daily and weekly total validations - now Leave Applications that are submitted with a daily total above the work pattern, but below the total hours per week, can be approved and generate a payslip.
  • Update ETP report financial year - Customers can now run reports for ETPs created this financial year ending 2022.
  • TFN Declaration now allows apostrophe in surname.
  • Auto approved shifts update - The auto approval will now be based only on minutes not seconds.
  • Clock App Release v1.7.0: Improvements to offline sync and internal error reporting - Updating through the app store is required for this update.
  • Multi-Select Office Code and Operation in Invoice Page.
  • Start Date on SuperStream Report - The SuperStream Report will now contain the employment start date or display as blank if it has not been set in the employee profile.
  • Allowance Import Tool - The Allowance Import tool now has the following new features:
  • 1. Allow Users to add new allowances,
  • 2. Allow Users to delete lines that are not required without changing the payslip,
  • 3. Have Additional Validation on items being imported, and show appropriate warning so user is able to amend the issue.
  • Partial leave for Permanent employees now respects Approved hours and leave taken.
  • Award shows on People Export.
  • Clock App Release v1.7.2.
  • Employee App Release v1.5.0.
  • Office code on award test page.
  • Position test button - A  shortcut from the position page added to quickly test your rules after creating new positions.
  • Award name/classification special characters can be used.
  • Roster Export Tool improvements.
  • Wording change in Position Review.
  • Locked Shifts Permissions - Super Users/ Users with Edit Payroll Permissions are now able to add shifts in Approve Shifts when shifts are in a locked state.
  • Prevent payslip generation when no paying entity/office code data is saved.
  • Police Clearance Component now has a free text field for employees to provide their Police Clearance Reference Number.
  • Roster Summary Report - now can include declined shifts.
  • Award Test Version 2 released.
  • Monthly leave improvements.

 

Bug Fixes

  • Leave Reason unable to be selected in Approve Shifts issue has been solved.
  • Reference Check in Onboarding set as Mandatory issue has been resolved.
  • Edit Admin User issue resolved - When an Admin user was edited, Admin name was vanishing.
  • Send Registration Reminder Modal fixed.
  • Declined Operations have been removed from Lock Shift Modal.
  • Employee App Clock Location issue resolved.
  • Rate Rise Position Start Date fix - Now the position start date for both permanent/casuals will be the beginning of the period prior to the rate rise, not period after rate rise. 
  • Wageflow Reconciliation report showing double write-off amounts issue fixed.
  • Permission Errors issue affecting non-Super Users fixed.
  • ETP Deletion UX update - Removal of secondary browser confirmation when deleting ETP. Now the user is presented with the options:
    • Cancel (new button- cancels delete) 
    • Delete ETP & ABA (replaces former yes option)
    • Delete ETP only (replaces former no option).
  • Roster Metrics issue fixed. 
  • Filters in Draft Payslips and Payslips bug - Filters will now display correct information regardless of the order in which they are applied.
  • DSCI Clearance Component issues resolved.
  • Superannuation other_fund fix -  resolved the issue of missing superfund details in batches.
  • Leave Application Admin Page - issue resolved with pages generating and exporting pdfs.
  • Availability UI fix - In the employee portal, when an employee applied for partial time off, an anomaly was causing text to overlap. This has been resolved.
  • Approve Shifts Filters updated.
  • Maximum hours per week warning - When creating bulk shifts the exceeds maximum hours warning will display based on employee Work Pattern (Perms) and Overview settings (Casuals) or fall back to Award if no max hours is applied in employee profile.
  • Superannuation funds have been tidied up to remove duplicates if spaces exist in title.
  • Copy Roster Position Error – When copying a roster from a future date, an employee may have a position that is valid in the future, but is not currently their active position, causing an error on the roster. This was removing the employee from the shift and preventing them from being re-added unless you entered their current position. Now, when you copy a roster from any date, clearing the invalid position will autofill the employee name and upon saving, auto fill the position.
  • In Day View, when user drags and drops shifts, functionality is as expected and shifts can only be dragged within the roster.
  • User Changing Action after clicking Confirm - When an admin edits an employee position, and clicks Continue, they are now unable to make changes to the form in the seconds between clicking confirm and the modal continuing to the next tab.
  • ABA file Generation with Deduction fix.
  • Terms and Conditions report now includes the Employee ID.
  • Min Rate on Employee Profile - Now minimum rates are enforced for all employment types when creating/editing a position and the “Continue Button” is disabled until error condition is fulfilled.
  • Edit Payroll tax - bug affecting Payroll Tax when in edit state. User was unable to save as value was dropping from the State field and was unable to be re-selected. Value now remains populated in the State Field.
  • Bulk Shift Overtime Warning - When creating shifts via Bulk Shifts, employees that will exceed their max ordinary hours will display warning message: ‘Employee may exceed maximum hours (x hrs) for this week, if they accept these shift(s)’ correctly.
  • Labour management report 24 hour time issue resolved.
  • Unpaid break not inserting into rates book - If the rate label being used for unpaid break penalty wasn't in the position previously. It wasn't adding itself to the rates book as a new rate correctly. We fixed this and also ran a migration to add any missing rates in all platforms.
  • Paycyle tax override fix.
  • Primary location fix.
  • Adding allowance twice to rates book fix.
